Phantom's Story

Phantom Phantom Phantom
Day 1: Phantom These pictures are hard to look at and Pahntom needed an updated steroid shot and antibiotic a week ago, but I didn’t want it to interfere with his medical trial. He is semi feral and is kept in a crate at night, especially when the drool is extensive and he is grumpy. He is my sanctuary kitty that was pulled from a TNR location due to dogs killing over 60 TNated cats in a 30 day period in a mile radius. Praying Mutoral give him the miracle I’ve been searching for this past year, he deserves to be pain free and living a better quality of life. No matter how much pain he is in, he has never stopped eating and is the strongest fighter I’ve ever encountered. Thank you so much for the opportunity to purchase these drugs, it’s the first glimmer of hope I’ve had in many months!! Day 2: Phantom I’m truly in disbelief! He just got his 5th dose right before I was able to take this horrible picture of him… Eye and nasal discharge completely gone, drooling has completely stopped!!! He actually came running to me this morning and this evening and didn’t put up a fight to give him meds…. This is huge!!! His mouth always hurts him, hence the reason to make me bleed every time I give oral meds. This has to mean his pain levels are down and he is tolerating me being in the vicinity of his mouth. His gums are still blood red, and I will try and get pics of the inside of his mouth tomorrow when he is out in the sunshine. I know it’s too soon to plan for his future of being an actual adoptable kitty, but at least I know we have a chance, and that is the miracle I needed to see today!! Nancy Schmidt-Moulen thank you for being the touch stone I needed today, you are an inspiration and I’m grateful for your compassion to help so many kitties in need!!!
