Hello! This is Keroro. Unfortunately we’ve been battling stomatitis since 2016. Our vet advised a full mouth extraction to relieve it since it appeared to be chronic after multiple cycles of steroids and antibiotics. Finally July 27, 2018 she had all her teeth pulled. We soon discovered that the extraction didn’t help. My vet said she’s only the 3rd cat her entire career where an extraction didn’t seem to help at all. She’s been getting steroid and antibiotic injections with increasing frequency. The now monthly injections are no longer having any effect. She’s now down to 6lbs and is no longer grooming herself. She’s miserable and constantly pawing at her mouth. My vet advised to consider her quality of life and strongly feels I should consider euthanasia. I’m waiting for this drug to come out and praying it will help her. I’m just not ready to let her go yet. Ordered the first round! So excited for my girl to finally be pain free! Elle ne creuse pas à sa bouche presque autant. Elle se nettoie encore. Et elle mange comme une championne, en volant même de la nourriture aux autres chats. Avant de commencer le traitement, elle pesait 6,3 livres. Elle fait maintenant 7.2 livres... dans une semaine. Elle a aussi récupéré un peu de son cran et a essayé de me piéger.
