Ollie's Story

Ollie Ollie Ollie
a year ago this week our boy endured a long and grueling stay at the veterinary hospital while the team worked diligently to figure out what had struck his little system so swiftly… we kept thinking, “surely it’s something common that can be resolved within a few days…” but as the clock ticked, each day looked more dire… it was then determined that he had wet-form FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) and we should consider palliative care… but, with a subtle nod it was casually mentioned that we should join support groups to learn about other options… we are forever grateful for that nod, as such resources are why our boy is still with us, and thriving, today… after three months of treatment, and three months of observation (and a team of veterinarians, friends, and family all rallying for his recovery) ollie was considered clinically cured in february; and he continues to be as sassy and spirited as ever… we are genuinely grateful for each day we have been blessed to embrace this little fella, and thank everyone that has supported, and hoped, and prayed for his well-being… not a day goes by that we don’t acknowledge how truly fortunate we are… Thank you Mutian
